The Pusan Musuem

It is self evident that cultural appreciation starts with your ability to show curious people the wonders of our world.  Digital preservation and representation is a very hot area of research, and more museums are opting for a virtual presence which not only enables enhanced preservation, but it also allows people who can't physically visit an exhibition to appreciate its treasures from remote locations.  Below is a virtual model of a section of the Pusan Museum, in Korea.  Textures are used to represent the priceless works of art, as well as the lighting, while polygonal geomtery is used to model the museum structure itself.
